I noticed Taylor doesn't use an alignment pin to keep their air spindles from free spinning. Does the spindle resist turning if 0 RPM is programmed? It doesn't seem right to just let the air line keep the tool from rotating.

What Arie said.

As an aside, it really doesn't matter. The shafts on turbine spindles are concentric with their collets and the air line is more than enough to stop them from spinning. It's really not going to notice 1/2 RPM of drift in 65,000 :)
