I went over to a friends who just got Aspire 3.0 Worked this up. Very nice program. Has some nice features. Still not Artcam in many ways but catching up quickly. Mike |

Thanks No it is Hard maple(added amber tint in the prewash shellac, before the lacquer). I used a 1/4" ball for rough out 0.050 allowance. 1/16th" tapered ball for finish(precise bits), a 1/2" 90* V for the text. 1/4" endmill for the oval cutout from the back. The oval mirror is a 5x7. My speeds and feeds were 150IPM feed and 40IPM plunge for all except the cutout on the back. Where I used 100IPM Feed and 20 Plunge at 0.125cut depths. On the 1/16th I stepped over at 0.005 for an almost no sand finish. Mike |
