I wanted to be sure you guys got a look at these. I put them in the main forum and they got buried. The truss rod covers are bloodwood with a .006" maple keyline around toasted maple. The cover is held into position with three tiny alinco magnets. I started on the 360 alloy brass bridge. The saddle pieces are next. Essentially, it's like a strat bridge in function....though it's much heavier....and it's a string through. On the back of the body is an inset brass block. The strings will not touch any wood in this design. We'll see how that sounds. I took great care in the design of this bridge to try to arrange things so that there is very little throw in the bridge piece required to set intonation. The bridge pieces, while being height adjustable, are actually three different basic heights. The idea was to design the bridge so that there is only the tiniest sharp angle as the string passes over the saddle and through the system. If the saddle pieces fall more or less into the nominal position when setting intonation, then there will almost no sharp bend in the string. We'll see. Those pickup rings are made to form fit to the Seymour Duncan P-Rails and also follow the contour of the bridge and the fretboard. |

Pretty parts, and a nice glamour shot Can I request a pic of them on the guitar? I'm looking forward to seeing all the elements come together on your design. |

Yeah...I'm waiting to get my polishing station setup...then it's done. The only parts left to make are the electronics plate on back on the jack plate. I'll get photos up when it's complete. Thanks! |
