Working on my first guitar, a Gibson Style, and looking at my Wife's Songwriter, I cannot see a trace of glue squeeze out at any of the braces or anywhere for that matter, I am wondering if CA glue may be being used.
Any body have any comments on using CA glue?
I have built many RC airplanes and CA was superior to any AR glue made.

Hey Pat. You'll get a better response in the main forum as this is the CNC forum, but I'll take a stab at your question.

There are, for sure, uses for CA in guitars like fixing cracks, inlay, fret ends, heelcaps, ect, but for the bulk of the work you'll want to use a PVA (like Titebond or LMI's White glue) or even better yet Hot Hide Glue on the critical tone bearing applications like gluing bridges, braces, ect.

Good luck to you.
