I've been thinking about a closed circuit monitor for the CNC so I can keep an eye on it when I'm in other parts of the "factory". Any thoughts on a simple inexpensive system? Should it be tied in to the PC network somehow? I'm running Mach3 if that makes any diff. Thanks Nelson |

How about a remote webcam? This could help you out if you have a laptop that you usually keep nearby.. http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Remote- ... B0002GS4Z0 Trev |

Look at X-10 "Home Automation" system. I just installed a security system in their shop and it works very well. They have some cool software to link cameras "wirelessly" to you PC or other devices. |

http://www.x10.com/products4/video_security/vk66al4_xr3.html I'm just needing a basic low end system something like this. Looks like I could "see" the downstairs CNC on my upstairs PC. I can usually tell by the sound what's going on but operations like digitizing don't make much noise. Nelson |
