At the risk of sounding like too much of a fan boy... as good a job this tool does on body contours, I'm even more impressed with how it can radius a fingerboard. Maybe I just gave up too early trying to get a ball to cut wenge cleanly. Wenge really likes to splinter and the soft grain bruises easily. A ball took a long time and left a surface needing a lot of cleanup.
Did a wenge test fingerboard last week. The edges are crisp with no signs of splintering and we'll be able to clean up the surface with 220 by hand.
