Henny the cad macros sound intersting. Do you have a screenshot of something that is made with it? Doesn't have to be a part, but at least a drawing?

Now for a suggestion for you.

Nelson posted a link to emicroscribe showing how to get a surface from a digitized surface with, and I am assuming here, a Microscribe. Would it be possible for you to create a macro/wizard/script interface with Rhino to take the xyz coords from Mach3 directly rather than having to same them as a txt file and import them?

I would be interested in something like that for sure, and I would bet I would not be the only one either.

Mike

Sorry, I have no clue how to do that. I'm not a software "wizard" myself :-(

I'm not a software engineer, the last 2 years I just spent every available sunday learning scripting and making simple autolisp and visual basic macro's to get faster results from the software I am using.

I do not have much time this week and the coming week is also going to be really busy, but I'll try to put some simple demonstration video's of some macro's/wizards online somewhere between christmas and newyear...

Hiya All!
This is my first post here on the forum. The Forum is fantastic btw.
I'm a guitar builder / Tech from Belgium. Studied Guitar Building at the ILSA ( http://www.ilsa.nu ) in the erly 90's. After my studies I toured around the world with bands for the last 15 years.
Just started leaning about CNC/Rhino/Cam software.
Very interested in this wizard!
Groeten uit Belgie (Greetings from Belgium)
