Post subject:  regal neck repair

hey, i bought this thing with a broken neck years ago, and now i wanna fix and sell it. i have no experience with res-os.
wanted to play one for a while, and see what's inside. regal biscuit bridge steel bod.
boy, these regals are really built well  . i wounder if nationals are the same quality inside, probably not.
neck doesnt line up with the bridge (from the top), different sized screws all over ( guess these'll do!), and glue holding some of the supports in place.
anyway, i wrangled the neck out (pretty easy), and glued the little heal piece on ( clean break), and now, my question is this...
the major break is about 3/4 up from the heal cap, and i can flex the break open. i wanted to break it off cleanly, to get a good glue joint there. kinda stubborn, and all i want to do now is open it up and get enough glue in there. never happen with tight-bond.
so, i was going to flood it with ca, and kicker that, then clamp it. think the ca is strong enough? mahog neck.

If you break it all the way, clamping can be an issue. I try to open the crack as much as I can then use a clarinet or sax reed (very thin, strong tip) to push the Titebond down into the opening then clamp.
