Thanks.

Name doesn't ring a bell - does he owe you money?

If we had a bit more info (when was he building there, what kind of instruments/music was he involved with, reasons you're looking for him, etc.) there may be some folks around who could point you in the right direction.

"Name doesn't ring a bell - does he owe you money" ?

No, not at all.

"If we had a bit more info (when was he building there,"

I became aware of Him through a Guitar Gallery on the ASIA Web Site. Time around 2004-2005 (maybe earlier).

"what kind of instruments/music was he involved with,"

He built Archtops, Rock Guitars, Flattops. Also, I think He He built a very old period Instrument ( a Guitar, maybe), as a restoration project. His Archtops had a Gold Plated Art Deco tailpiece on them. He was featured in an Article(s?) in the local paper.

"reasons you're looking for him, etc.)"

I liked His work very much. I thought He was a talented Designer. At one time I was considering buying one of His Archtops. We talked quite a bit over the phone and the internet and He sent me pictures of His Archtops and Materials relevent to possible Pickguard choices, etc., I called His Phone # one day and I discovered it was disconnected and His WebSite was taken down; and I'm just curious as to what may have happened to Him ?

AS I said I'm just curious. I wonder what happened to Him.He was a very nice, humble Man,He just liked to Design and Build His Instruments.Thanks.

Thanks, and just to make sure you know, I was being sarcastic with the "does he owe you money" quip.

I wasn't sure from your original post if this might be someone who was last spotted building back in the 80's or more recently. Sounds like he should still be around somewhere.

I know of a music store called MacDonalds in Marquette that may be worth calling. If no one here knows him, asking music stores in the area may be your best chance for a lead.

There may still be some others around the forum from further north who may know of him though.

Good luck.

Thanks. I found Him. David your idea about Music Stores was a good lead. I did a search in the Rumely area and I found him. I didn't think of Music Stores which led to Rumely Search idea.
