Can anyone suggest a method of stripping a layer of somebody else's paint off a factory gold top ? Thanks, Jim |

Tough one, and there would be a lot of variables depending on the instrument and the finish used. I would post this question over in the main forum, as this one is pretty much visited just for local Michigan events and gatherings. |

Yes Bryan, it's there all right, and comes up nicely with the scraper, stuck to the back of the paint flakes. I have committed to re-doing the gold top. I have some bronze powder from yesteryear, should work fine. If not .. looks like natural amber ;>) |
