I started a discussion about a week ago about a guitar I made that had a line down the center seam of the top that was probably caused by the glue used and being exposed to a very dry dealers store. I guess he was still happy with the guitar and e-mailed me his review on Harmony Central. I bet he wouldn't take what he paid for it, plus a thousand profit either. Congratulations!  ....as a cheer goes up from the crowd of luthiers salted with sander dust, their faces covered with masks and wildly clapping tiny micro-clouds of dust into the air! Yea! Paul!

Awesome! If I ever get just one accolade such as that, I'll never get the smile off my face!! Of course, it's like the lottery. You can't win if you don't play.... (I've yet to get just one built). Someday, thanks to the inspiration from all here!!!!!! Obviously a well-deserved patt on the back. Keep it up!

I was actually going to bring it back to my shop to bring the neck profile down but hadn't had the time since I've been working alot of hours. The buyer really likes the neck profile and wants another one like it done in Adi spruce and a few different apointments. I do think a bit beefier neck helps keep a guitar in tune and helps sustain. Like you said in an e-mail awhile ago, you never know what will strike a players fancy. |

Oh, come on Bruce! You can hop on a plane and get there in no time! We'd love to have ya come visit sometime...so make sure if you ever head up this way you time it so you can be here the first weekend of the month, which is usually when we meet. Except when the Pats make it to the SuperBowl. Then we'll keep our priorities and postpone the meeting by a week.  |

Paul, I tried twice to bring up Harmony Central's review, but in vain. Perhaps their site was experiencing a traffic surge. I'm sure the praise was well deserved. It's nice to get a little recognition now and then, isn't it? (As Bruce would say, there's a small cloud of dust rising....)
