Well, I'm going to post some pics of what I'm up against here for your opinions. 
Here's the headstock, which is really shot...  
There are other issues as well, cracks in the heel etc. We're leaning toward replacing the neck but re-using the original fretboard and ivory dots to preserve some of the age. Opinions??? Thanks |

Don, that is probably the best plan. After seeing the headstock, I'm afraid that the vintage value for this one is long gone. The best option now is to preserve what you can and make it playable again. |
