Just got my John Mayes neck-making DVD's...AWESOME! Good work again John! Was browsing the net this morning and came across this:

Look about halfway down the page...man, I'd sure like to see the rest of this thing...it'd make a guy's life much easier! Anyone out there on the forum doing anything like this?

Larry, I've seen it first hand. It's nice but by the time you build it, you could have made 50 necks. It's really only "production" oriented as it's purpose is to give even results very quickly. BUT, if you have a need to make anything different (say a 12 string) it's useless unless you make another platen.
It would be nice to have but it's one of those jigs that is made for someone that really doesn't know how to work on guitars (guitar factory employees).
