Mine is very much like John's, but in reverse; the top part is the one that swings, and the center one stationary. I think I like John's better <bg> |

Brock, I found an ad in one of the GAL issues FB RADIUS JIG It will be here by tomorrow....thanks for the pics and the input. I am curious to see how this thing will work out. |

Brian, I have one. I love it. Only complaint is that the radius blocks that the rails lie on have strips of that Super Molecular High White Density....whatever you call it plastic on them to make them slide easier...well the problem is that the glue on the back of these strips doesn't stick well so they tend to peel off. Other than that I realy like the machine and the owner/builder of the company Craig is a super guy. Also, I was having some problems with some chip out at the edge of the fretboards...solution...don't cut the taper in the board until after you radius and then if there is any chip out it will be cut away when you taper. I think you are going to be very happy with the jig. ![]() ![]() |

I am glad to hear that I am making a good investment. Dave, what bit are you using with yours? BTW Craig is a super nice guy and good to do business with!! |
