Tim, thanks for posting these pics in the OLF Guitar Project Forum Section. I wanted everyone to see this and take a gander too. Tuners are on, Inlay slotted, Bridge installed and Pics of a little of Addam's Finish work as well as all who've participated. It won't be long now. Very impressive. Happy New Year Lance! |

Sorry for the delays Bruce and Lance. I should be able to get some time on it today between bracing, french polish sessions and sound port cutting |

Tim, the neck was glued up and bandsawed out by me but shaped and fitted and finished by John Kinnaird. If I remember correctly, the fretboard was supplied and slotted by Bob Steidl in Tucson, Arizona. I think John How is correct on the scale 24.9" Of course since you have the bridge glued, that's old news. Double the twelfth fret length plus compensation is the old rule. Tim, have you retired from your day job? You seem to be getting lots of shop time? Jes' wunderin'? |

Nope, I'm still doing the day job thang for a few more years (until both kids are out of college). We had a shut down the last two weeks and this is the first time I have not had any project work over the holidays (at the day job) in 25 years, yippee. So, I took advantage of it and built 5 boxes for the guitar shows this year plus installed the new dust collector and modified some other tools. Other than that, it's been a relaxing vacation. |
