Hey, Thanks to Lance !!! I had to re-set a M&T neck today and I have always hated the process of getting the fret board seperated from the body. On another post a couple weeks ago, Lance mentioned he used an old e string vs. putty knives approach.

Worked perfectly along with a household iron to soften the glue. Best experience I have ever had doing this task.

Simply get an oid estring and a couple of vise grips and saw between the fretboard and body once the glue softens a little from the heat. No damage to soundboard or fretboard.
