I need to stock up for my Delta sander. (Actually I need one quick to finish sanding some sets.) What do y'all use and where do you get 'em? Thanks! |

Todd, do you have a lot of waste with 35' rolls? The belt I pulled of was 135", or 11'3". I suppose you could get three belts by just not wrapping as many turns. Since it's wrapped, guess there's no rule that says the wraps can't be spaced. |

I needed some 180 quick and got a roll from Grizzly. It was the felt backed for hook and loop, and even though my sander is not hook and loop, it has performed better than ANY sandpaper I've ever used. Maybe it's the slight cushion effect, maybe it stays cooler. Don't know but it works. And things are just as flat as with regular paper. I've even been pushing it way harder than I normally would with 180 and it just keeps going. Will definitely try felt backed in other grits from here on. |
