This question if for you builders... I'm curious. Give me 3 pro players, known and unknown who you would like to see play one of your guitars...

Dream a little, it's christmas!

Well, I've got one of them on the line right now and don't want to jinx it until the check clears.
1) ???
2) Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls
3) Brian Setzer

Well, I'm deeply fortunate in that I don't have to dream.

Twenty years or so ago I built a guitar for Noel Paul Stookey of Peter Paul and Mary. He's used that instrument, along with a of couple others I've made for him, pretty much exclusively since then for all their concert dates and many recordings. He's a wonderful person and a great customer, in that he's lovely to deal with and quite creative in that he suggests projects which will take me in directions that I would never have gone in otherwise.

The initial project was interesting in that it not only was a guitar meant to stand the rigors of touring but also a nylon string guitar with 14 frets clear of the body. Most recently, the project was a steel string (similar in size to an OM) fitted out with MIDI capability.

So, I assume that's your guitar on his most recent album.  Looks great.

Is that "Facets"?

Yes, that is the 14 fret Nylon string guitar that I made for him in 2002. Also the MIDI steel string can be heard on "Song for Megumi".

By all means...  The worst that can happen is a great evening of live music!

Let's see....

Jeff Traugott
Julius Borges
Jim Olson
Kim Walker
Rick Turner
Kevin Ryan
Kevin Gallagher
Lance McCollum
Judi Threat
Grit Laskin
Ervin Somogyi
Brent McElroy
Cathy Wingert
Charlie Hoffman
Tom Ribecke
Linda Manzer
Mike Doolin
Mark Blanchard
Sergei deJonge
TJ Thompson
Bill Tippin
and on...

Why? Because wouldn't it be cool to be the person the very best builders turn to for their own personal instrument? Now that really says something...
