One of my students has been working on two very nice classicals this semester. He finally got to the French polishing stage. He had been polishing for a while on his living room floor and when he stood up he lost his balance. Unfortunately his knee landed on the top of the guitar. I guess the fumes got to him.

The other pic is one that I dropped I while back.

I'm sure it sucks for him right now, but I hope he'll be able to look back at

Dang shame isn't it? We are going to at least try and patch it together so we can have an open casket at the funeral.

This reminds me - does anybody have photos of guitars that have distorted or imploded under tension due to being under-built?
