Has anyone seen the new dvd set (of 10) from Michael Collins the Selmer-Gypsy-Jazz-Guitarmaker?
Available at www.cgi.ebay.com building the selmer-gypsy-jazz-guitar-10dvd-set

Mike does great work and anyone needing some guidance in guitarmaking(trad.or not) would learn & love these dvds.

mike

Hey Mike,

I was talking to Mike yesterday and he says that they will be availble tomorrow or so. I think that they are only fresh out. He is sending me a copy next week for review and comment. He has also started to "produce" Macc's and L-00 ish guitars. Pretty exciting times for him. His book on Macc's is great as well and indeed has a bunch of stuff just about construction in general that is very useful even if you don't want to build a Maccaferri.

Hey Mikey, my wife only really liked that last part of the Bull joke.....go figure!!

Shane

So, you and the Macc-Selmer-type guitar maker are two different guys?

And they know eachother. I talked to Selmer-Mike the other day, and he was talking about...err...regular OLF-Mike.

If I didn't know about 'em both, I'd worry about the sanity of a man saying he spoke to himself about his profession on the phone.
