What sizes, tops are, in your opinion, the best combos for this wood. Also, is it a preferred wood for a certain style player? What wood sounds closest to it? Thanks |

Large body. Jumbos and dreads, Ero, Adi, Caucasian Like most Maples and Sycamores it is a somewhat bright but mostly considered for its defined, clean crisp fundamentals Makes a great guitar for flat picking country and bluegrass and strumming rhythm type play |

I just bought a KILLER set of quilted maple. The plan is to build an AJ with it. Just like Michael stated, this will be my Country strummer with an Adi top! |

Bob, try a Lutz top. Order one of Shane's KILLER master grade, and glory in the Sitka-ish rays and the White-ish color. Great compliment for the maple. Will sound pretty good, too. Steve |
