Hey guys and girls, I got this one strung up yesterday.
It's been a learning guitar for me.I've done many new things on this one,such as.. a sound port,carbon fiber neck implants

,a great Lutz top from Shane,Semi-hemispheric frets,bound headstock and f.b.,and a neck volute.All new to me.
It has Walnut back and sides from the Zootman.
a Great Lutz top as I said once but bears repeating!
Adi bracing
And Brazilian: headstock overlay, fingerboard,bridge,top purfling,heel cap,rosette
bone- nut,saddle and bridge pins
ebony bindings
And a Nitro finish

Thanks a lot guys, It sounds Loud! It's the first guitar I have played with a sound port. I thinned the lower bout edge and braced it lighter than my other guitars. It's got a strong bass already and clear trebles.It's only a day old so I hope she opens up and rings out!I like it so far. Here's the sound port...

Yeah the peace sign reflecting off the superb finish made me laugh out loud too. Not to mention the "implants".......

Dave my friend this guitar is just over the top and you did a superb job on her.

I like everything about this guitar and it is clearly a project that you thought out very well in advance.

Now how about sending some of the beautiful Florida blue sky up here, it's freezing and the winds are gusting over 50 mph.......

Yeah Hesh thats my take on your "peace guitar". I think your inlay has got me beat though.

Man that's awesome Dave!! You've certainly done justice to all of those parts! I really like your heel shape as well. I know another Luthier who uses that shape and I just may incorporate a version of it myself....

Dave: That's just gorgeous. Great work. Can you talk for a minute or two about the semi-hemispherical fret ends? Did you do this on your own, or go to a class to learn it, or just what?

Thanks again guys, Shane- Yeah,I think the wider shape heel looks a little better.
Terry-Yes I did the finish.A lot of guys hate finishing but I like doing it.
Bill- I heard that Harry had an article about it but I couldn't find it. I just read as much as I could find on the forums about it.You have to measure perfectly .Then I filed the ends round and sanded. Then thru the grits of micro mesh.It takes a little practice.I did have to remove a couple and try again but it was worth it I think.I pressed them in with CA.There wasn't a lot of leveling to do.I then rounded the frets and sanded.Then back to the micro mesh pads.Those pads are Great!
