Hey gang, Thought I'd share a little progress on my first real commissioned build. Gonna be a Grand Concert with florentine, WRC top, Hondo RW back and sides (thanks to BobC during the OLF swap), Tiger Myrtle trimmings from Tim/AustralianTonewoods. Just got the rosette finished...the stripes are really gonna pop once a finish is on there.
Question: What's the curing time on KTM-9? I read somewhere that you should wait 2 weeks to buff. This baby is due by Xmas....I need to hurry, but not rush! Cheers, Jon |

Nice looking rosette Jon. 2 weeks should work. |

I use to use KTM9, and always gave it four weeks before buffing out. Not sure the differance between two and four, in terms of hardness? |

Very nice Jon!!! Your segmented Tiger rosette is very cool! If I recall correctly when Mike Doolin used KTM9 he recommended 4 weeks to permit it to harden. Lance has sage advice. |
