Seeing everybody's new rosettes has gotten me fired up to show off my new one. Made my own herringbone, but decided to reverse the traditional colours, dark inside, white out. Lacewood center to go with the body wood. The topwood is white cedar. |

Really nice looking rosette, Doug. The reversed colors on the wheat looks outstanding. Good job. |

nice color combination...it all works together well with the ray flecks adding a bit of flash...very nice |

Very nice!! I saw a similar rosette on the "Classical Guitar Making" book. It was the wheat rosette. Well done! |

Love your reverse herringbone. Well, I think the whole rosette looks great, but I really like the reverse herringbone. Well done!! |

Thanks everyone. I was quite surprised at how easy it was to make the herringbone. I'd recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to get this guitar finished. Its my attempt at a Torres. |
