Well guys and gals thanks to all of your support I have outgrown my basement, garage, and sheds. I am in the process of cleaning, painting and remodeling a 2500 sq. ft building that I will be moving into over the next 4-6 weeks. I am going to try and maintain business as usual during the move but I'm not sure that I can. Progress reports and pic's will be posted as we move along. Again my sincere thanks to each and everyone of you for your continued support. |

CONGRATS UNCLE BOB!!!!! You deserve the best of digs for RC Tonewoods. 2,500 square feet is huge and should provide you with plenty of room for expansion in the future. AND perhaps another OLF get together when you are settled in???????? Want me to come over with my Festool and vac the place |

Thanks everyone for all the words of encouragement. I am excited about the move. I plan on having a nice work area with a clean bench. Hoping I can build a few guitars there. I also plan on a little wood burning stove and roasting some chestnuts over an exotic wood fire. Sometimes I think I'm nuts doing all this at 66 but I'm hoping that one day my son's will take over. |

Great news, Bob!! Can't wait to see the finished product. Do be careful what you burn in that stove. Ron |

Thanks Ron I'm a wood burner for 30 years but your right. One good thing is that floor and walls are concrete. |

I miss the wood stove. I grew up with one and both my brothers still have one, but not me. I burned wood in my fireplace until a huge ice storm hit here in 2000 and we lost power for three days. The fireplace worked fairly well, but I had to spend many hours chipping ice off the wood to burn it. When I built my new home in 2000-2001, I put gas logs in the fireplace. Don't like the aesthetics, but it sure will warm the whole place if I need it. Ron |
