wow that looks great. Can you post a pic of the wood again before that went to finish. I am interested to see how the color changed.

And... did you have him put color in that neck? It might be a trick of photography, but that looks like there might be subtle shading or sunbursting in that. :-D

Brock the neck is all natural and it was rather redish Mahogany so I though it would be a good match and it looks like it is.  No shading was applied.

Here is how it looked when I packed it up to take to Tony:

Chris I take turns with them playing Smoke on the water.....

A few have been sold, several given away as gifts, and my dear old Mom got one too.  She told me today that she wants her ashes scattered in one of my guitars and totally creeped me out......

Louis your excellent pins are indeed going on the BRW bridge that is fitch matched to the back and sides of this guitar - the head plate is from book matched cut offs too.

Thanks guys!!!!!!

It just occurred to me that the shading that we see on the neck is the grain orientation of the neck wood.

That looks like a Smoke on the Water guitar for real, Hesh. Very rock-n-rollish!
We've got kids in the nursery at the same time.
Tony must be one busy dude.

Thanks for posting,

Steve

Wow! Looks great Hesh. I like the way the finish darkened the color of the BRW just the right amount--refined and elegant. Your stealth bindings turned out great, the finish set them off from the sides nicely. Wish I had some of that wood.

Another fabulous looking guitar, Hesh. The color is to die for. I am thinking of sending the guitar I am working on now to Tony.

Good goin',
Max

Hesh, nice guitar (as usual!!)...I really like the small but significant detail of the heel cap having the end of the "stripe" on the back! And Tony's finish is super as always!

Very nice and clean look. I reminds me of Jeff Traugott's guitars with the
BRW and the clean and simple rosette. Now if you have his tone as
well.....Rick would be proud.   Just a joke....

Gosh, that is turning out! Clean as could be. I would love to hear this one in person, Hesh.

Many thanks Folks!

Terry Tony will finish with the neck on or off - see the current thread from my twin brother Steve K.  I agree that it's a better practice to finish with the neck off.

Marc thanks my friend and I had totally forgotten about the stealth bindings until you brought it up.  They do just melt into the guitar as a whole don't they.

Max I am sure that you would be thrilled with Tony's work!

Thanks Dave but it just started to snow here so that means no more outdoor pics of guitars from me for a while and that sucks.  There is nothing better than the "big light" outside for guitar pics with reflections of blue skies and clouds in the finish......
