Well My new table saw arrived last weekend and is set up. No biggie or any thing just a Rigid Ts3650. But the one new tool I am really proud of is my new Fuji Q4 HVLP system. I finally got tired of replacing el-chepo desiccant filter cartridges at 30-50 buck a shot 2 or three times a year and I certainly could no afford a refrigerated air dryer system, in terms of money or space So I coughed up the bucks for a turbine set-up Pictures when Diane gets home later this week |

Hep I almost bought one with a rheostat air control. The Fuji has a baffle restrictor on the hose conection at the gun end. Not likely to be as precise as controling the air the turbine actually creates but seemed to be at a handy location for on the go adjustment. What cap and needle are you using for Stain? |

Congrats Michael...awesome purchase. I've seen one of those up close, and they're quality all the way. |

well, this is wayyy off topic, but I bought a new toy yesterday. I cleared about 6 acres of my land in the spring and then de-stumped it with an excavator. I bought this to level out the ground and fill in all of the stump holes. The neat thing is that when I clearcut the pine trees, I found about 30 cherry trees and about 10 wild persimmon trees. In time, these will become guitar woods. anyway, here is the new toy:
now I have all of the forestry and sawmill guys wondering what this has to do with guitars.... if they only knew :) |

Michael, I just bought the same Rigid Table saw. I've had it assembled for about 2 weeks now and so far I've only made one cut on it (I know I'll get plenty of good use out of it with time though). I'm sure you'll like it, that Table saw has gotten some incredible reviews and I'm sure there's a good reason for that (which is why I bought mine). Enjoy! |

Hey Michael, I bought the same saw earlier this year and I love mine. Actually, I posted a review of it here in the OLF off topic. more of a review of the setup. I've cut 12/4 walnut on it and powered through 12/4 maple with no bogging. That's with just the standard Rigid blade. At the same time I got the Rigid 16 gallon vac that will attach right to the saw's dust collector. Very little dust outside of the vac. |

I bought the gravity cup also. Plan to by a second gun for stain work later but will wait till I see how I like the XT-2 gun first. |
