Is it me or is the shape of Buckinghams's main ax a Weisenborne cut-away? |

No, it's derived from a circa 1825 Stauffer that I owned to which I added the cutaway reminiscent of a Maccaferri. No Weissenborn influence at all. If anything, Weissenborn was influenced by the same early 19th century designs that I was. |
