Hesh, Euro spruce and Cuban mahogany is a fabulous combination, one of my all time favourites - good score. Cuban is a delightful wood to work with too. |

Sam, haven't you learned about opening the Zoot stores in another tab on your browser? Then you can browse Zoot while the forum loads another page. |

Nice score Hesh! I got a couple of sets of that Cuban myself. Already had one on the shelf that I haven't gotten around to using yet, why not get some more right? |

Hesh, My package from Bob arrived yesterday with a set of that Cuban Mahogany. There was also a set of the exhumed Colobolo. I'm putting mine away until I can do it justice (seeing as how I'm just starting on my first kit build) |

...forgot to add... I actually bought the Cuban from Bob about a week before the swap meet start. My first purchase from him and I wandered into the OLF the same day. All week I had one tab open on a swap meet page, another in the archives, and a third on the tools and jigs. |

Like Dave said Cuban mahogany and Euro spruce are a combination that was handed down to us mere mortals from Mt Olympus. It is the best there is! Sticka cherry neck on it and it'll be the best guitar you'll ever likely make. Colin |
