I recently loaded strobosoft ( peteresons PC strobe tuner) into my pc . I keep getting an error message telling me to "change the sample rate to a higher rate " I have not been able to do this, I had it twice late at night , but now I am unable to find the control which controls this .  dont know ifs its my sieve memory, or a problem with a changed setting on my pc  .   can anyone help with this ? thanks

try going the .exe file for the program....it is most likely in Program Files/Strobosoft or somesuch...right click on the .exe and choose properties and then click on the compatibility tab and try running it in compatibility mode for lets say windows 98...or the last machine's OS that you had it running on

I would start by going to the Strobosoft forum which can be accessed either from Peterson's site or strobosoft.com.

The error message does not sound like it is related to your running it on Vista.  In the Strobosoft forum a number of the responses are from the Strobosoft support team directly and their email addresses and phone numbers are there.
