H.RW, WRC, Span. heel, 7 fan symetrical, hide glue throughout, FP. Getting close to what I want but still haven't put a label in one yet, pleased with the sound of this one. Comments/critiques welcome, thanks for looking.

Very nice, Marc.   What is that body shape and size?  All the work certainly looks clean, and the finish is really beautiful.  Did you use a flat solera with scooped lower bout or raised/scooped lower bout?

Very nice, Marc. Love that French polish!!

I was in Ardmore this past August for a family reunion at Lake Murray. Sure is pretty country.

Your guitar is absolutely beautiful.

French Polish is such a great finish and a pleasure to apply- I've just bought another bottle of Liberon Special Pale...

Sounds like an ale brand, Liberon Special Pale, but I assume it has the wrong kind of alcohol in it.

Waddy - the plantilla is my own but guided by cumpiano, circles and segments, the circles have centers located on the center line of the guitar, just did it that way. Courtnall style solera scooped w/neck set.

Pat - Ardmore 'pretty country', thank you, that's high praise coming from Spokane which is absolutely beautiful country.

Mike - good eye I see what you're seeing, but it's not glue drops, it's not even on the guitar, something with the photo.

Sam - Liberon is the best IMO

Tommy - from outside opinions it's my best sounding so far.

Jody - I've FP three guitars, but equates to much more than three FP if you count do-overs. My opinion, FP is one of the most elusive and tricky parts of a build.

Thanks all

really nice work my friend! I love the look of FP, but hate the work involved in it. Looks like you are on your way to mastering the process!

It looks really good Marc.

Your french polish looks very good also.  While it takes a while to get the hang of it, the result is worth it.  Good job and enjoy the accomplishment.
