All I can say is WOW! Our little swap meet has done growed up. WOW! I bet the stock of the delivery service companies are going to take a tick up this quarter just because of us. I just cannot believe how much stuff was sold. Congrats to everyone for making this such a success. I will leave the SM thread open to read for a couple of weeks, and all sellers still have the ability to edit the posts .. so you can go in and mark the last stuff sold, post ship notices etc. Again, thank you all for a great event. |

Yes of course, thanks to Brock, Lance, and all the great vendors. It was a lot of fun and really good value to. I am sure a lot of us feel like wild beast after the kill, laying back and licking the blood from our paws at last content...until next feeding time Cheers Kim |

Brock, just where are you sleeping now? It seems I saw your name everywhere. You must have seriously expanded your wood store. (By the way, good for you!) But all that comes at a cost... so back to the question... Steve P.S.--thanks to you and Lance, as well as all the vendors, for a great event! |

I couldn't have asked for a better venue to pop my wooden cherry (so to speak). Many thanks to all the vendors for making it such a fanWAStic event. And many thanks to Brock and Lance for providing tje medium through which three keyboards were ruined by drool ;) :) |

All I can say is, !!!THANK YOU!!! Thanks to Brock & Lance, and thanks to all the sellers for offering up such beautiful stuff! The last swap meet, I got some real nice stuff, but I lacked in the back & side sets. This time I concentrated on that, and got 7 sets total. All of different species and color, and all of top quality! Thanks again, to EVERYONE!!! Robert |

I'd like to echo what everyone else has said... BIG thank you to Lance and Brock. The last swap meet was great, but this one still has my head spinning. I'd also like to thank all the sellers for putting up such great wood (and related items) at truly amazing prices. I bought several tops and b/s sets that I know full well would have cost me 2 or 3 times as much had I bought them retail. I really appreciate that and hope you all were able to put a few dollars (euros, etc.) into your pockets after your expenses. Again many thanks to all who made this such a great event! |

This WAS my first swap meet as well, and I just love the down-homey and organic way that it all started and unfolded. It just has this cool character that runs so counter to most stuff that happens on the internet, I loved it....THANK YOU Brock & Lance for making this happen. |

Big thanks Brock and Lance All the changes you made to the way this one made it flow much better than the last(it just keeps getting better!). I really wanted to smooth things out on my end (the dreaded packing), and it was a lot smoother. Peace,Rich |

I have to add my thanks to Lance and Brock also. This was a great swap meet and it seemed to go a lot smoother than the last one, although that was a lot of fun too! I can't wait until the next one! |

Now that we are maturing as a forum, might it be possible to set up a calendar, as a continuing topic at the top of the page, of events for the coming year. It would be nice to anticipate when the Swap Meet, conventions and meetings will take place and everyone may contribute. It would be nice if the Swaps were at set dates annually. Dean P.S. Thanks guys! |

Hesh, that's not food on the middle shelf is it? Shame on you if it is. All food should come from the frozen section, or be brought in pre-prepared from a restaurant, right? Only buy what you can eat in one sitting. Otherwise much space is wasted storing it for future use. Poor economies of scale. |

I could only afford one minor purchase this time out, sadly... I just couldnt afford it - so I waited until the 3rd day before I even looked - Im sure glad I did that otherwise I would be in the hole badly right now - But Im thankful for my good fortune in finding a tome on classic workbenches! Thanks to everyone who kicked in with goods and those who bought, clearly the volume of goods that are exchanged is increasing exponentially,,, and the demand for these sales is on an increasing peak! Cheers Charlie |

I feel your pain Charlie, it came at a very cash strapped time for me too. I sold two items but bought nothing. |

Thanks to all! Great Swap. I would suggest that we have our Annual Fall Swap in October (just took place) and also have one in the Spring say around April would be nice. I like the format and selection on this one. Now I have less money Mike White Oak, Texas |

I for one certainly enjoyed viewing and drooling over the wonderful goods being offered. In fact, I purchased from 4 different venders and will now have enough beautiful wood for 6 builds. Not bad considering I have no skills, tools, room, or time to build. My only regret was in being on vacation when it started. When I came back to work I had a photo from the swap meet on my computer all morning but could not get off the phone long enough to even post a reply. I ended up missing this one off by 14 minutes and unfortunately it can’t be repeated. Oh well, my loss and someone else’s gain. Philip |
