Finished my first build and had the treble side sounding tin-ny / slightly buzzy. I did a search and found the thread on the fret leveler, boy it worked great, Thanks Rick !! I had 220 adhesive back paper, but I'm having trouble finding 320 and 400 locally, I'm up in the mountains (snowy I might add). I'd like to find these in sheet with the adhesive back as a roll will be $20 or so and it will be eight lifetime supplies. Has anyone use a product that you can spray on the back of a sheet product or know of a sheet product that come with the adhesive already on it.

Thanks

Peter

I use my 6 inch PSA discs, works like a charm, 220 and 320.

Matter of fact, I now use the 320 on my Stanley Plane Body instead of sandpaper wrap like Frank taught me. I like the PSA papers, and I simply squared the side, and used two slices to make the 14 inches. I may have used two discs, hmmm, you'll figure it out, it doesn't have to be continuous rolls.

The problem I've found with spray adhesives is in getting the paper back off once its worn out. After two years of heating & picking & scraping off glue... I just spent the bucks on Klingspor & 3M Gold PSA abrasive strips. The 3M Gold is my fave.

Todd,

Hope you start feeling better soon. I had a partial Knee replacement, ACL and lateral meniscus all at once about a year ago, I'm just getting around without pain.

Good Luck with your recovery, hopefully it won't be that long for you.
