The other WTB thread got so long I didn't want to move it over, so I thought it would be better to start a new one.

Wow... what a great first wave... Just think... 9 more days of this.

I will go first.

I am on the hunt for a set of Mac Ebony sides. If they are thin that is ok. I would prefer them to be book matched though.

No need for 5A figure or anything. Just something decent without any flaws.

Hesh .. the good blanks I have can be nicely bookmatch glued up to get the 1.75 you need - been done before here and it looks great !!! A 12 inch long blank will get you two matching bridges ....

Lemme know if you are still interested ????

Port orford cedar is used for bracing by some classical builders, such as Ruck and Oberg. I've been looking for some, but the hardwood dealers around here don't carry it. So, Bob and others, if your offcuts from processing tops creates wood good enough for bracing, I'll relieve you of it!

I want to trade my pile of ivory for something - like a nice back and side set.

There was recently a guy selling legal ivory nuts and saddles on Ebay, for a fixed price of $20 (if I remember correctly) which would have made my dozen pieces worth about $240.) Currently, I see an Ebay ad at $12/ea, which means my dozen is worth about $144. I'm willing to trade quite a bit lower than that value - you might be surprised. Even a really nice parlor sized set of __________.

I'm looking for some Bubinga or some nice Sapele.

Any planes or tools are also appreciated. And some clamps too.
