I was able to grab a couple of great Deals this morning as well. I love swap meets. It's definitely a great excuse to buy more wood------Snick Here is some nice Koa set for $80 that I was able to get from Alan with Volcano Guitar Works. And here is a Figured set of Goncolo Alves #3 for $45 from Rich's Table that I was lucky to get. Hopefully today will spark everyone to sell some stuff. I'm even thinking about it. I may need to in order to buy more. Ha Ha Ha-----Snick |

I had my sights set on Lance's $120 4-piece-back cocobolo, or as I like to call it, cocolobobo. And I got a vacuum pump from John Mayes for $60 shipped. I think I'm done buying, gotta save some dough to build vacuum fixtures for my new pump. I might try to do the Joe Woodworker set up for it. |

I'm still hoping to score something in trade, you know, the "swap" in Swap Meet. Hesh, I'm amazed that set of BRW lasted 3 or 5 minutes or whatever it was. I'm guessing the server wet its pants when we all connected. That looks like an $800 set at least. Great score! Dennis |

I got some brace profiling jigs that I've been too lazy to make (thanks Tim McKnight!)...and I sold all 5 items I listed right away! Trouble is, I'm still cleaning my shop and asking the question, "Do I want to move it?"...I may have to pony up some $$ to the OLF and list the rest of it! |

I got some videos from Hesh, one nice WR Cedar from Uncle Bob along with a birdseye fretboard from Uncle Bob for only $8. Being my first swap meet, I am having a hard time controlling myself. All during class today (which unfortunately started at 10am!) I was thinking of what beautiful wood I was missing out of. It was a horrible feeling. |
