I just switched ISP's from comcast to att dsl.
My new DSL modem handles the PPPoe connection so my routher does not need to. I have tried to disable the PPPoe in my modem and allow my router to handle it, but they refuse to talk to each other.
My router is a Linksys befw11s4.

A guy at work had a similar issue. He said he turned off PPPoe, which you've done, and put the modem in "bridged" mode. He said it worked like a charm. Is there a little switch in the back that says bridged?
