Yeah, tatoo artists are amazing, but I know they would say the same of your work.  They are two separate things, though both based on art.  You could definitely design tats and probably do them too with practice.

That inlay is amazing! I wanted to say it is amazing as usual, but nothing you do is usual, it always is amazing.  One of the greatest talents I see in your work aside from being an amazing artist, is your ability to read shell and other inlay materials in order to give the inlay that little extra kick.  It's not an easy task either, I just fixed that block inlay and the piece I had cut for the V part had some nice little ripples as abalone does and with very minor sanding, I went through them and now have a solid color, instead of a solid color with those little rings or ripples, that abalone has.  It's just not that easy to predict or see in advance how materials will look and fit together and you seem to have an amazing eye and talent for that.  Again, amazing work my friend, always an inspiration.  Best of luck and best wishes Craig.    Jason
