Perhaps we could build one of those as a group project! |

Keith, thanks, that was neat in a creepy sort of way. I know there were some real musicians there somewhere. REally it blows the mind that someone can conceive of an animated video then execute it into such an incredible portrayal of the real thing. |

While a cool animation, two thoughts came to mind... 1. This is not too far from the 42 string Pikasso guitar that Linda Manzer built for Pat Metheny but Pat gets much more sound and better music out of his than the music in the animation... 2. I think the animation is patent infringement as it looks like only Fred Carlson could have designed the original... The same group that does this animation has done a number of other musical animations, all of which are amazing as well...thanks for sharing |
2. I think the animation is patent infringement as it looks like only Fred Carlson could have designed the original...
That's what I thought. Sure is brilliant though. All the mechanical arms seem to mimic human motion, as far as anticipating a future movement is concerned. Very fascinating. |

Keith, Isn't that the guitar you got on ebay a few months ago? Don't show that video to Bozo, he'll build one! |
