As there have been some interest in this topic, I thought I would post my progress on brace caving. These are before and after on my practice top. The top has a low growl to it, that I would hope will carry over to my next top for the guitar.
I get a few real nice long resonations out of this top on the MP3 you can hear. The mic picks it up fairly good, this is with no effects. I do look forward to bracing this week end! Carving it next week after the HHG sets!
I have one full, minus the neck, screwed up guitar set parts for various reasons, for all you mistake buffs out there.
