Does the tapping method work on the small planes, like it does on the larger wooden planes, or are they too light. |

Waddy, you can tap the little wedge planes just as you would the big ones. I don't use a hammer, I just thep the plane lightly against the bench; the iron itself to advance it or the heel of the body to retract it. Here's one of mine next to a 10 mm Ibex: |
