Well, new to me anyway! I just received four sets of jatoba backs and sides from Espen in Frankfurt. I'll be making four deep bodied 00's with variations on the bracing themes over the course of the winter. My camera is back to a dead battery, but I was able to find a completed example of a jatoba guitar on the web. We can play guess the luthier, too! I wish it were me.

Mattia-- They are at www.espen.de and were very good to work with. The majority of their stock is not aimed at lutherie, but it worked well in this case. |
