Sorry for the oft-postings of this project of late. I thought you might like to see the Tassie Tiger Myrtle SJ w/ some sealer on it. As you might expect, the colors and figure really begin to make themselves known. And Tim, I'm starting to dream about my next project with this wood! First a shot of the back: Another view: The top, w/ overspray protector in: A closer shot of rosette, and Shane's pretty Lutz top: The head, complete w/ map of Tasmania (it IS uncanny!): One parting shot: As always, thanks for looking. No more shots till done! Steve |

That's gorgeous. I've said it before, and will continue to do so... I'm really glad I have a few sets of this stuff. |

Great, that is natural beauty compounded by superior craftsmanship. You make woodworking an art Steve, that makes you an artist. keep it up. Now, one question, not to distract from your beauty here, but what kind of sealer? |

Really, really beautiful. I like that wood. It is so highly figured but still has a softness about it. Very nice. I like your overspray protector, too. Good thing you didn't have two soundholes on that one. Ron |

Really beautiful. Amazing what a little sealer will do to bring out the figure in the wood. |
Don you can be such a pimp
Now, did I say *anything* that even remotely suggested I'd actually be willing to sell even one set of my flamed tiger myrtle? Did I? Huh? Huh? Did I? No! Not gonna happen. No way. Uh-uh. That said, keep an eye on the NET site over the next few weeks.... Kiddin'! Not selling my Taz-TM. Well, maybe one set. Sorry, I can't help myself! |

Well, my thanks to you all! Nice to get your approval. Now, to answer some questions: The sealer used was McFadden's vinyl sealer. It's a match for their lacquer, sold by LMI. Tuners--gold Schallers (M6) with ebony buttons. Don, yo, DON!! I want a set of THAT!! Thanks folks, you're as kind as usual. Steve |
