For those of you that use the fine Stew Mac bridge clamp. This is no big deal but it has made clamping bridges simpler for me.

By taking the plastic shoe off of the Ibex clamp and drilling a corresponding indentation in the Stew Mac bridge clamp, you can locate the Ibex on the clamp with no danger of it slipping off while tightening and scratching your top.

As I said, no big deal just makes life a tiny fraction easier.

Colin

Good idea, Colin!

Speaking of modifications...I made a mod to my caul whereby I drilled 2 large holes through the aluminum such that my 2 locating pins at #1 holes can pass through. I don't have pics so use your imagination. With HHG, I try to slap it together as fast as possible and don't want to worry about the bridge shifting.

I use the same clamp as you and will make the mod. Thanks for posting.
