I went on vacation to Yellowstone National Park and just got back Friday morning.

Thought I would share a few of the pictures with everyone here.

We were very lucky to see all of the wildlife that we did. And the rest of the Park was just beautiful. My pictures don't even do it justice.

I hope the file sizes are ok for everyone.

And me with my OLF T-Shirt....

This one was just a funny shot. We found a place called "Blain Gallery" so I took my picture under the sign...

Thanks for looking!

Blain--

Great pictures from a really beautiful part of the world. I about fell out of my chair though when I saw the Zukey Lake Tavern tee shirt. My wife and I live right next door to the tavern!! The next time you are in Lakeland, please stop by!

Hey Jim,

Will do. I'm obviously in Texas, but my girlfriends Aunt and Uncle live near Zukey Lake Tavern so I'm sure we'll make another trip by there eventually.

It was funny because we went to a little store in Wyoming and the guy working there saw my shirt and said "Zukey Lake Tavern!!! I've got a sweat shirt just like that". He was from Michigan and was heading back home that evening. I had no idea when I put that shirt on that so many people would be familiar with the place.

Blain, thanks for the great pictures.
It was like taking a trip without leaving the farm.
I see the Elk are shedding that velvet.
My son and I saw two in full velvet in May in Colorado.

You are very good with that camera and composition.

Thank you. I'm glad y'all enjoyed the photos.

Yes, this Elk at least was shedding it's velvet. We saw another one that was still in full velvet. We saw a ton of Elk, but only about 3 bucks. This one in particular was right next to the road eating and you could just stand there taking photos and it wouldn't bother him a bit. The majority of my pictures were of him with his head down eating, but I did manage to snap a handful of shots when he lifted his head.

The amount of wildlife there was incredible. I went there hoping to see some Bison because I really wanted pictures of them and ended up seeing probably several hundred of them throughout the park. It was amazing just how many of them there are there.
