Can anyone put me onto a really crazy set of rock maple with birds eye figure. I want some high zoot to be sure. TIA John |

It has been a while, but I got some really super nice neck blanks from Larry Davis (for teles). I don't know if he still has any or stock big enough for sets, but that might be worth a call too. |

Thanks Brock!! I'm down to my last 2,000 board feet of birdseye maple which includes some pretty cool boards. I'm not a big fan of cutting flatsawn acoustic sets, but email me if you can resaw and I'll be happy to send a couple blanks you can resaw for at least two sets. Also, "really crazy set" might need some further defining like a photo you like.

There are some at Exotic Woods in Burlington Ontario Canada, 905 335 8066, saw them yesterday .... bought myself 4 electric tops, toss offs from PRS ... what were they thinking ??? !!!! I have seen plainer looking tops on their stuff in stores (still nice, but these are VERY GOOD tops) !! |
