I spoke to someone from Fender, they were gearing up to use this wood, but the lumber dealer was a basketcase.

Actually it was a patent claim for the first ever pedal powered chain saw ... only got half way thru then collapsed from exhaustion , and was too tired to take it back to the shop for version 2
