I went into Lowe's looking for some Aspen boards which were previously sold next to the Red Oak and Poplar, but they were GONE.
They no longer carry Aspen. I would like to find a source for a couple of 36" long boards to be used for making Kerfed Linings.
I would appreciate any leads.
Thanks, Ray

Ray, my local Menards has it, or had it the last time I was there. Might check Home Depot too?

I always use Aspen too. Menards and Home Depot have it here. But it's flamey and that really makes milling them tricky. I've got a lumberyard near by that orders it for me.
Check woodfinder.com to find some in your area.

If you can't find it local, I stock several select white boards for my acrylizing program. Acrylized Aspen looks like satiny old ivory if ivory had satin luster. Email me if you need since I don't log on often and miss PM's. Always buy local when possible and save those freight costs.

Ray, maybe it would help if you let evryone know what part of the country you are located. I know of a few places in Portland where you can find Aspen.
