Premium Grade Tasmanian Blackwood
I have been processing several flitches over the last couple of months that might be of interest. If anyone has some interest let me know. The figure is at the top end of the scale and has some nice chocolate bands running down its length. I will post some more images later. Here is a taster.

I think the tone should match the figure. All the sets come from a particluar tree. I am hoping to get hold of the other section soon.

Tim you have some great stock in at the moment. I played a Lowden F35 Tassie Blackwood, and it's a REALLY special wood.

I'm going to have to order some in when I have built my 10th guitar, to survive getting that far (I'm only on #3 at the moment!! )
Very nice Tim and that would look fantastic with BRW bindings.
Hesh, I recon that wood will look fantastic no matter what you put with it. I can vouch that it's even more stunning in the flesh.

Cheers

What does a back and side set sell for?

Current pricing for these set is $140 as they are not completely dry (3/4 seasoned). I have not offered these sets anywhere else and I will keep the offer open for a week or so. There was little sprial in the log so warping would not be an issue but the set would need to racked out for another month or two, depending on your workshop setup.

Tim
