Nope, not this this year....

I built this guitar specifically for Healdsburg and I wanted to build 2 more so I could take 3 total. Unfortunately my schedule did not permit me to build the other 2 so I decided to wait one more year....

Anyway, here's the final product.

Black Limba Back and Sides
Master Grade Englemann Soundboard
5 piece Neck
Brazilian Bindings
Paua Abalone Purflings on Soundboard, Back, Fretboard and Headstock.
Black Pearl Logo
B-Band A2.2

Beautiful, Peter!  Why am I not surprised?  I love the Black Limba with the BRW bindings.  Also, great looking rosette.  Overall, !

Soooo elegant!!! How are those fat frets to play, or do my eyes deceive?

I think Don means on the neck, at least that is what the neck looks like.
Peter, I saw that sweet thing in person! Excellent work!

Peter, you did a great job of photographing the guitar without any glare or reflection.  Maybe that's why Don thought it was flat.  Glad I didn't say it!

Hmph. I know a satin finish when I see one.

Either your photography is really great, or really bad!
Either way, great looking axe.

Peter, the guitar looks great, I especially like the silking in the top.
Bet it sounds great!
Are you going to make it to HB, even if not exhibiting?

Guys,
I'm humbled by such comments!
I have found that one of the hardest things to do is get a good set of woods that compliment each rather in a whole. A nice set of back and sides and a good soundboard needs a way to tie it all together....

Thank you,
