I bought this music and tablature from him about 5 or 6 months ago when he was still mailing them out (all electronic now from candyrat.com)... needless to say I can not put any of the depth and fullness he puts into it. Andy Mckee is one of the most amazing and innovative players, especially for his age. I haven't even made it the entire way through the song (I'm amateur at best but love to try a challenge).
Side note: this song was written for a family friend who passed away. You can check out more of his songs on youtube or by the downloads at the other site I mentioned. "Drifting" is the song that really got his name out there but it is only one of many that he has.

Sorry I'm going on and on but I am a huge fan of his.

I've been watching Andy McKee clips for a while now and really enjoy his playing, which is inspiring to say the least. I like that percussive playing- a technique I am trying to master- first demonstrated in song by a relatively unknown folk singer called Nic Jones.

I also know that most Lowden guitars are an absolute joy to play, having played quite a few myself in a guitar store a few weeks' ago.
